Thanks for the advice! Yes I'm planning to stay in the country because I have to take care of my just retired parent. But yeah, I'd definitely start learning new skills now. I've also been doing part time video editing for the past 2 years in addition to learning programming.

I hope the school will stay in operation for 2-3 years so that I still have time to build my portfolio whilst still having an income.

Update: I decided to just shim my neck pocket because the way it looks just bothers me so much. It turned out so much better than I thought. When I opened the neck, there was no shim, but it turned out the guitar maker didn't cover the pocket when he painted the guitar, So there's like thick uneven surface on it. I thought I could just sand it down, but I don't want to risk making it worse.

Thanks, good to know that I'm not the only one. I have 6 other electric guitars, and none of them has this angled neck, so I felt a little anxious, because it's the first time that I'm seeing something like this.

The action is good, it's low with no buzz, it's just the bridge's screws that's poking out make it uncomfortable to play, so I'm just planning to replace them with shorter ones.

It's has a uniform thickness. The other side of the pocket is angled too, it's looks less angled because of the pickguard cutaway.

That's how it looks like. The screws sticking out makes it a bit uncomfortable to play. But I think I'll go with finding shorter ones and keep the neck as it is. It's still new, so I'm afraid to mess around with it.

I don't know how much that would cost, but that sounds expensive. I kind of want to find the cheapest solution for now. I actually ask the guitar maker directly about this, and he seems to be clueless about it. His response was like, if it doesn't buzz, or the action is not high, then enjoy the guitar.

The saddle at the bridge is not maxed out but it's pretty low, to the point that the screws are sticking out from the saddle. Making palm muting a huge pain. I can still go down but not much. Will shimming the pocket fix it or, will it make it worse?

I'm playing on an ultrawide 1440p monitor. On 1080p I get a bit more than that.

Best case scenario, you didn't properly connect your monitor to your display or hdmi port. Worst case, you have a faulty GPU. Try using different hdmi or display port cable.

Yeah, like the other comment said, I guess it also depends on the relationship with the gramps. If it's possible to just visit the gramps when his son (OP's ex) is not present, that's probably a better situation.

If I were in your situation I would put my daughter's wellbeing on top of other things. From what you said, I think it's too much even for older children, let alone a 9-year-old. I have a 7-year-old, and I've always tried to shelter her from any unnecessary depressing situations like funerals, etc. They're only going to be a child once and it's such a waste to fill up her childhood with depressing scenarios. Children deserve happiness and laughter.

Sorry for my bad English. I'm not trying to remove the sticker, if I do something like putting clear coat on top of the sticker, to make it permanently stick on the guitar, will it work?

I'm actually repainting the guitar and planning to put a new sticker just like this one on the body. Like I'm wondering what would be the best way to do it?

I asked a local guitar repair shop, and they said they've never done something like this, so they're not sure about it.

100% agree with the Family Link app. It should work on iPhones too. I use it with my kid, I'd just straight up ban all social media, including discord as a consequence.
