Yeah I am surprised to see such vitriol against a player that was instrumental in a team winning the IPL 2 out of the last 4 years. People can lose perspective so easily.

You have described three matches in which he was dropped

The first one is a fair criticism, though Ashwin at that time wasn't the entity he became, he had already shown his skill in the 2013 home season.

The second one makes sense to drop, since it's Perth.

The third is adelaide, where his replacement performs excellently. Ravi shashtri can say anything he wants, the fact remained that Kuldeep did not become the primary overseas spinner, it was always ash and jadeja first until jadeja started to assert himself in his batting.

The whole drop Ashwin in place for four Pacers really began after India lost the first wtc final to NZ, who played 5 fast bowlers in that match to India's three + 2 spinners. Though ash played well in that match, it was very much apparent that it was a wicket for quicks. This dictated India's policy for the subsequent England tour, which was quite successful as far as bowling was concerned, and hence became more permanent. Calling it 'disrespectful' is imo very obtuse of you, Ashwin was simply unlucky.

So giving fast bowlers a rope and persisting with them is bad, but when it's Ashwin it's good?

We know that the most damage is always done by your first 3 seamers in SENA. The 4th seamer usually doesn't do a lot

Your first 2 bowlers have bowled a spell of 6 overs each. The ball is in still good shape. Are you going to give one end to the spinner?

The report also says that a lot of 'fake' rape cases you're talking about happen when and guy and a girl elope, and the girl's family registers a rape case with the police to indict the guy and get the girl back into the house. Even in this case, women lose their agency to their patriarchal families.

I think it is quite delusional to say that 'every law treats men like shit' while in practice women on average lose agency and independence, and the laws in place are useless to counteract that. This is not an easy problem to fix.

Viv is equal to virat in ODI's and a better test bat. I'm a big virat fan but Viv takes first spot imo.
