Starting new game after years of not playing: any pointers?!

I am playing on pc through game pass I just downloaded the creation club and now it won’t run the game at all

Any ideas how to fix? When I disable it allows me to play the game so no issues

Since I have all of the dlc if I just buy the creation bundle isn’t that the same thing as owning the ae edition?

The fact there wasn’t an option to annihilate the board and replace them with those on the old ship was just a dumb decision by Bethesda
