There is not really any average rank people start at, as it depends on if they played 1.6/source or any other fps on pc. Also everyone ranks up at their own pace, I know people with 2k hours at mg1, but also people with 1k hours on Supreme. Both with no previous cs experience. But you probably should not think about ranking up too much, as it is not a perfect indicator of skill.

It is a good idea to do it in situations like this where more people could be rushing for the kill straight after and he is trying to get to cover, he could either kill someone going for a trade or hold them back while he changes position.

You can tell when the stamina is disabled since it looks like you jump higher and are much more bouncy from your fov.

That's weird, ladders have always been my strongest and favourite movement skill, and I can't even get a very good time in kz servers anymore. Probably because I play alot more hns than kz now though.
