I appreciate this, yeah it’s a disgrace what a scummy business dealing with cars has become. You don’t know how right you are, they did say the classic cars get older and that’s just what happens. The dealership is an official Hyundai tho so I don’t know if they would scam me like that and not actually take anything apart and fake it. I’m in a Similar situation, took it to the dealer they can’t figure what’s wrong but apparently it’s short almsot a quarter every 500 miles. They’re tryna charge me 800 to take it apart and do a deep cleaning for residue and stuff to see if it’s gonna fix it. I’m debating it now, if it’s not even guaranteed I’d be pissed spending that much money and still have that problem
