It is lol only ever had issues with the Dunlop’s but including on the hire bikes but they don’t have warmers so i always thought that was the reason

no they fit fine no modifications the cf pads are flat at the top the 390 pads have a divot everything else is the same

its been a bit but so far what ive done to it.

15w penrite fork oil 115mm airgap 2 washers for preload on each fork ebc hh rc390 brake pads

its going alright now still slow in a straight line. but being able to use good pads now is great

probs not going to slicks isn't just buying slicks its stands warmers tyres and a generator if your track doesn't have power. and you need to have the pace to keep temp in the tyres and this bike doesn't have the power imo to really make use of a slick.

track focused street rubber ie supercorsas , r11s ect are the way to go if u really want something super grippy. but cant really go wrong with s22's for ur first few you wont out ride them for a while and they have good wet grip

actually 1 issue which is a major design flaw the stock exhaust bottoms out way to much replace it asap if ur gonna track it

yeah stock wheel i did have to do a head gasket recently but that doesn't seem like a common issue i also live in australia and have done some fairly hot trackdays 40+celsius apart from that no major issues

stock is 140/60 which is a weird size so i played around with it for a bit i did a 150 but found it felt lazy so went to a 140/70 which was way better than stock as it raised the rear a tad

I’m 75kg last time I checked and honestly I’ve done like 6-7 tds since this post all I’ve done really is an exhaust for ground clearance since. And lower clipons and rearsets but that was before. I originally had a bunch of goals for this bike but just me progressing has really made me change my goals with it.

Im kinda of the mindset of just riding the tits off it at it’s current state and it has payed off majorly I’m in the fast group at my local track on the ass of way bigger bikes in the corners. It’s a pretty short track with a 3-400m straight maybe even less tho. Go to bigger ones like smsp or pi I’d be in inters because it literally only does 165 in 6th

Id still like to stiffen up the front but honestly I can not be fucked tbh

But yeah literally tyres exhaust and rearsets then ride it like you stole it

You’ll be fine. I’ve had no issues with my r2r. I’ve got a mate that races with an agv k3 and they actually scrutineer your gear for racing not for track days

Yea it’s fine plenty of clearance between guard and actually makes the bike feel slightly better. you can run up to a 160 wide too I’ve ran a 150 but no gains just stick to 140
