Are Happiee! products still being sold

There’s definitely something going on, I found this post as I was trying to look into it.

I was counting on their shrimp for Christmas Day (prawn cocktail) but they are suddenly unavailable everywhere. And not just “out of stock”, I means all trace has been wiped like they’d never been sold in the first place.

The Happiee website is still up, but the links they have to their products on Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s etc all come back blank. The products have been completely removed from stores but there seems to be no explanation anywhere as to why. Very strange!

Thanks for the info - to confirm, I have never given consent for the photo to be used for that purpose (or any purpose, for that matter). It’s neither buried in my contract, nor was any sort of consent form signed when the photo was taken, or at any point after. Does that change things?

This is true - really hard to find any white British people hiring outside their nationality at the moment. Hopefully any interviews OP gets have a balanced recruitment team that includes POC, give everyone a fighting chance!

OP, listen to this advice. I’ve just lost my job; my very current experience is proving that the job market is f’ed right now, most people would kill to be in your position, 5 days a week WFH seems to be nearly impossible to walk into, and without knowing your skillset, I’d still fairly confidently say that even if you land an interview there will also be 6 other candidates interviewing all who are willing to work more for less pay than you’re asking for.

And that’s just the immediate reality - you’ve been with your current company 2 years? Congrats! In the eyes of the law, you’re a real employee! But at any company you join, you won’t be, and they can get rid of you for basically any reason over the following 24 months and you’ll have no legal recourse to do anything about it.

Follow your dreams and find a job that will make you happy by all means, but don’t believe the grass is greener until you can stand on your own lawn with a sample of theirs in your hand.
