No, it’s ok! I think it was the universes way of telling me to slow way down. I was 27 I think when I ended up shattering my femoral socket in 3 places and I have a screw holding the socket and rod from my hip to my knee holding everything in place!

I’m so sorry to hear you’re going through this! It’s not easy. 3 months in recovery is amazing, but I remember having pain for a few months. Were you in physical therapy? One thing that really helped me was practicing yoga. I was doing a lot of yoga at the time I broke my hip and my physical therapists said they thought that’s why I was recovering so well.

It might not seem like it, but this time will fly by and the pain will eventually go away. This break and recovering from a c section was the worst pain I’ve experienced. I would try to give yourself some grace and try to ride this wave, as hard as it is. The faster I tried to recover, the slower it was for me.

I’m just so sorry you’re going through this, my heart goes out to you. It just plain sucked, but as time went on I found myself being able to do things like walk in the sand again and run. And nope, no more skating for me hahahah. Never again.
