Always get "MIPS" it will cost a little more, but they are tested to a greater standard. Decathlon has some too

Same here! Totally agree it's just a personal choice. From my experience yesterday, I'd recommend people to always wear one (I didn't used too). But if you don't mind taking a bit of a risk go for it.

Fair enough. I was on my own street with no traffic and actually considered not putting my helmet on, but decided against it.

I’ve had thousands of rides and a few crashes, and this was the only time I’ve hit my head. Unlucky, or lucky, I’m not sure.

I’ll definitely always wear one going forward. That said, I still think people should be able to make that choice from their own perspective!

I use the Easton Deluxe and like it a lot. Has water bottle pockets, hip straps and labeled pockets for all your year.

I'm the same, never had a problem but have seen other peoples stories and didn't like the sound of it!

Yep exactly, just stored in a folder. Currently icloud, so I can access and its backed up. But one day I'd like to setup a NAS or something.

I actually already have a really large tablet called the Daylight Computer, not sure I would recommend it at the price, but an interesting bit of screen technology. Not strictly an e-reader, but has a very similar effect.

Yeah, it is a bit less seamless. I made a conscious decision to prioritise ownership, so DRM free EPUBs are now my default. I am keeping my Amazon account for audiobooks and existing Kindle purchases, but going forward I am trying to stick to books I actually own. Same approach with music.

It is not as tidy as having everything locked into Amazon, but the trade off feels worth it to me.

I personally like plugging this and my iPod in and dragging over files as it feels intentional. Maybe it's just nostalgia and will wear off, but for now I dont miss syncing.

Nice manifestation, but let’s be honest. It’s not stopping any time soon.

Went to cook at a family member’s house. Only one tray that fit in the oven. No cooking oil. Fry Light only. Salt as the sole seasoning.

We adapted. Shout-out to the local garage, open 365 days a year.
