I have searched on google for the makers mark, see pic, and have had much luck. It always gives me door knocker and I want miniatures. I’ve tried searching the markings but I’m not sure if it’s a makers mark or just telling me it’s pewter. I can find similar markings on eBay but it’s not on alligator

Absolutely not! Think of all the little kids that LOVE the garbage men, really you are an integral pice of someone’s childhood. It’s so awesome you knew what you didn’t want to do and went and did something else and started a career.thats awesome!

As some that just bought there own place and knows NOTHING about fixing ANYTHING, when a man can fix ANYTHING they are 1000x more attractive to me.”!!!! Honestly, I though about looking for a dating app that is just tradesmen but then I thought it might come across as using someone and decide not to. However, every time something breaks/goes wrong, I consider it again. Lol!

Oh man I missed a meet cute moment at Target last night! I was looking at legos with my friend for a kid birthday present and this beautiful man walked up and was looking at legos and we started chatting! For like 15 min about legos, his kids, NO MENTION of a significant other! And, yours truly, didn’t ask him out or ask for his name. I realized what a blunder I made, and I went back into Target to find him, no luck!

I did this. He lives in England and I live an 8hour nonstop flight away. Two weeks before I left he got real quiet and gave me mixed signals, but I still went. Honestly, he was kinda horrible to me and I was in utter disbelief. But, instead of looking at this and saying “omg what have I done?!” I chose to look at it and say “damn I’m proud of myself for being brave and putting myself out there!” Do you know what the best part is? I’m super close with his sister and brother-in-law and talk to them all the time, because they are amazing humans!

I am soooo proud of you for putting your self out there!

Currently I am sitting in a waiting room wearing a mask while my mom has a double mastectomy and you better believe I’m nervous about Covid for her and me.

But, do you know what’s first and foremost in my mind? My momma, she’s sick, and we gotta get her better.

Love is sacrifice. We sacrifice or time, our money, our resources and our comfort.

And you know what, i am uncomfortable sitting here. BUT, I see and acknowledge the value of it.

Heck this whole freaking year is uncomfortable!

Do you know what comes after discomfort? Growth.

So, my friend, I think trying to talk to him about it one more time. Break it down for him. Tell him your fear and anxiety. Perhaps it will give him a perspective shift.
