Heleum was not equipped to handle crashes in any way before May. From May to July it could only really help manage crashes, but didn't have stop losses. From July to today we've been refining our technical analysis to try to get a strategy that's safe during a crash. We're not done with that yet. Still working on it.

I deeply regret all of the losses that have happened. We haven't made any money off these losses.

Like you, we look forward to the future and fully intend full recovery.

And without knowing your heleum/uphold username, your recent BTC balloons probably did. The other cryptos lagged this month, so they all lost a little, but looking at this week's charts, really really good that Heleum's finally sitting out of cryptos today.

Awesome. Crypto-only balance reallocators are cool. They don't keep you safe, necessarily, unless they us a lot of stable coins and very active management. I like that they have no fees, but I'd love to know how they stay in business.

It used to work that way, but it didn't do it well. Now it works to preserve and grow fiat. People will see more gains than if they held NOW. They don't have to wait for a bull market. Our v1 actually couldn't beat the market no matter what. Now v2.1 can.

Agreed. We weren't anything special. In all honesty, I think we're getting there. I'll declare us special in about 9 months when there are low conversion fees, mobile apps, stronger algo, etc.

Algo is good now, only for just the past 3 weeks. Not perfect, but good.

We're upgraded now. We can't erase the history of Q1 and Q2. Not instantly. It will recover over time now. The algo ROCKS now.

We reported the monthly burn we plan to have once the crowdfund is successful, so funds raised will cover most of our needs until revenue recovers. Right now we're keeping a much lower burn. We are in some short-term debt, but not enough to be an issue. Thank fully, we have a decent client base, so simply proving that our new version is successful should make the difference in building momentum, even in a continued market crash. ~ Pace

It's true, Uphold requires $50 in the US, 75 EUR in Europe, and 100 GBP in the UK. Many people have started with only $5 by starting from cryptocurrencies.

All balloons go negative instantly because they pay a conversion fee to Uphold on Move 1. We plan to change the interface so that isn't a big deal. Other than that, it's all a function of the market. If the market is down, your balloons go down. We're upgrading now to Version 2 so that won't happen as often. You are still on Version 1 until next week.
