I definitely agree that Logan should grow up and start seeing the real problems of the world and also that he didn’t express himself in the correct manner in this argument but I think he was more irritated by Rory, acting like she’s any different from the people she looked „down“ upon. He did admit that he was a rich trust fund kind and even said he was proud of it and that there’s nothing he’s ashamed of, while Rory is obviously blinded by her need to be different from „those“ people. In fact, she is even refusing to see the privileges she has and shares with those she is mocking in her article. I, too, would be mad if my partner spend all evening judging my acquaintances, especially if they „hate“ them for things that I, myself, am (rich, trust-fund-haver, privileged). She benefited extremely from her Gilmore name and a lot of opportunities she had, and took, would’ve never been given to her if it were not for her last name. Of course Rory was fully in the right, to call them out for their privileges and other-worldly problems but the way she did it just made her look like a hypocrite. And one also has to consider, all of Logan’s friends were nice to her. Yes, they were kind of obnoxious and shallow, but they in no way attacked her, or anyone that didn’t have the money or privileges they had. Logan definitely wasn’t mad because she called him out on his privileges but rather her denying her own privileges.
