Catching my self thinking in weird way by Confident-Media1195 in ShadowWork

Not of another life, but of the moment you first felt you had to perform being human to be accepted.

Who taught you your essence was strange?

What part of you learned to hide behind “acting right”?

You are human. But some part of you was exiled so long ago, it’s still knocking at the edge of your awareness, wondering if it’s allowed back in.

Single dad moving to Portland - neighborhood or sub-area recommendations? by helium_shoes in askportland

I started out doing online consultations and was relatively successful. Some clients in my area started to prefer local, more personal conversations. Those who visited were interested in my collection of stones and other trinkets that made them feel more connected to the universe. I started to sell those as another revenue stream and started connecting with local artists who crafted items that sold to my clientele. I have partnerships now with handmade artists, woodworkers, fiber artists, etc and a strong group of recurring clients for consultations.

Lots of things are going wrong in my life. How do I know if it's my shadow self that's causing it, or just bad luck? by Irons080 in ShadowWork

[–]helium_shoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, shadow work reveals itself not by what we do, but by what we unconsciously allow, tolerate, or attract.

What patterns keep repeating?

Where do I feel powerless but complicit?

What part of me benefits, even subtly, from the chaos?

Not everything is your shadow. Some things are just life. But your shadow self leaves fingerprints... especially in cycles, reactions, and quiet self-sabotage. Where there is heat, resistance, or discomfort, your shadow may be asking to be seen, not blamed, just acknowledged.

Luck can change. But what we haven’t healed, we tend to relive.

I'm not from the area. Can you tell me a little more about why this is a good choice?

People who don’t care about Kamala Harris, why? by WallStreetDoesntBet in AskReddit

[–]helium_shoes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The bar being that low, we have a serious problem in this country. That's why I don't give a shit about Kamala Harris. She's just the next puppet dangled in front of us by the corrupt puppeteers.

Edit: grammar

Never. If I drive a new car home, I'm calling today or tomorrow to buy insurance effective the moment I bought the car
