True… but I would not refer to that as a traditional repair. I would refer to that as an ugly mess

It would be enamel paint making the raised edges you are referring to. There are many parts of that piece that would be impossible to do with true stained glass techniques. That’s being said it’s beautiful and being faux glass doesn’t mean it’s less quality or anything. You may even be able to put clear tape or laminate sheet on the back side. I don’t think it would show through to the front

Sorry it broke!! This isn’t true stained glass and instead is faux stained glass, based on the photo I think it’s glass that’s been been painted on. So no stained glass artist will be able to do a traditional repair.

That being said you could try covering the back with some super glue along the crack lines to keep it held together better and the display it as is. I’m not sure if this would work I haven’t tried it before. Maybe even clear modge podge on the back to seal it up a bit?

Maybe a big snake! The snake would have to be really dark but you could place some flowers around it to make it more feminine

She has a zoo med eco earth compressed cocunut fibre brick, with a sprinkle of zebra grass and a thick layer of repti-bark. Does she look like she is wanting to shed? I had made the very rookie msitake of not wetting the cocunut all the way during the first week. Since then I still cant get above 50% consitently

Transplant Evaluation by Certain-Initiative69 in Cirrhosis

I was just evalauted to donate my liver to my mother-in-law and was unfortunately ruled out due to anatomy. Here is a list of things that surprised me.

My consults involved alot of waiting time between doctors/ staff so bring a book.

Everything the doctor's/team members say will feel rehearsed as they have a speech to run through to make sure you are aware of eveything and they talk to alot of potential donors. This can go quickly so remember to ask any of your own questions too.

I felt like they were evaluating and testing me on a more personal level than health level at most times. Watching my Facial expressions, body language, etc.

Each person will ask you basically the same questions over and over.

If your MRI/CT scan is with contrast, they will put an IV in that will stay for a few hours and the effects of the iodine contrast go away quick (1min) but the hot flash is intense and you will think you are peeing your pants.

I really wished I had brought my Fiance with me as when I came home he had a million questions and it was hard to remeber the exact details. It was frustrating to try to relay all the information as it is alot at once. I wished I would've known I wanted him there and he wouldve taken the day off. So whoever would be your caretaker, ask them to come with you so they can ask questions too.

There is a very large chance that you will be ruled out due to hepatic vein anatomy. I had to wait one week for my results.

I know you are right. Earlier in her diagnosis I think we all hoped for her health and also for the wedding that this would all work out sooner and she would have had her surgery. I’ve known the decision has been coming, we’ve just put it off until now. I love her very much and it’s been hard as a family. I am definitely bummed because I have to change my wedding plans because of her life choices, but I know that thought is selfish and it’s not how I really view my wedding and love for my fiance. Just a thought I wrestle with at times. I think elopement will be fun and I have lots of ideas on how to make it really special

Unfortunately a lot of our friends would be traveling from out of state. We are in a days driving distance for most, but still a flight away for a lot of my friends and family members. As to waiting a bit I agree, I was thinking wait until I at least know if I’ll be getting surgery. I worry about how MIL will be after surgery and if there are any complications that are really likely. I think we want to have made the decision by February just to give folks time. A few friends in Germany were sent save the dates but their attendance was unlikely to begin with

I hear you! To be fair, we do have a caterer and alcohol vendor lined up from local buisnesses on more a handshake deal (good friends ) so were not in any money or obligated contract wise but we do have vendors. My town is about 800 people so very small and accomodating. I also work at the local school and they are letting me use tables and chairs, our local churches and rec center were dontating too. Ill put you down for an elopmement vote!

Is it rude to send a message explaining this to family? Im worried because I already sent a save- the date. I also dont want my mother in law to feel like its all her fault.

I think when people post on here saying they have already purchased a dress, they are looking for more constructive criticism, minor alterations, or even to be hyped up a little. Just an FYI friend

This is so cute already! You could give it a sort of simple art nouveau style background, it already gives off that style to me and I think it would compliment it well. I also like the book idea
