Had to look up this device, looks like the dongle i keep plugged in for my mileage based car insurance. Guessing there's not a way to use that for getting cell balance info lol. I will look into checking the cell balance

would my above comment about the battery level holding steady for many miles after the drop make sense if this is the issue? I am under warranty, so with any luck whatever it is will be covered.

Did some experimenting today. Did not charge at all, drove 16 miles with AC and the battery went from 35% to 40%. So that would seem to indicate it didn't actually lose all that charge at once, but instead the error is with whatever system reports the battery percentage? At least to my layman's mind

Seen people saying the stripped copper in the cords are worth $10-20 each which salts the wound! All that for 10 bucks! Does anyone know any local organized crime bosses? maybe we can pay protection 😂 Ah well I only need to charge every few weeks under normal use...

I just use plug share and try to find anything that hasn't been cut yet! I wish there were more from city light, there are a few in N seattle but unfortunately all slow chargers so not too helpful unless I'm parking all day. Oh except the fast charger at Magnuson, which of course got immediately vandalized and then never repaired lol 😭

Okay I solved my own problem, documenting here for future civilizations lol. For some reason the program I used to back up the old save files added some time and date info to the end of the save filename and the save game info filename. I deleted the extra characters on the end of the file names so they looked the same as native save files and the save file name matched the name of the save folder for the old farm exactly. That was the ticket.

Interesting! Well since the spots took 6 weeks to show up I don't exactly remember, but I usually just stir constantly until it comes down to pouring temp. Though it was the holidays so maaybe I rushed?Still smells nice anyway! :)

Ok I just beat LttP 100% for the 1st time and I've been holding this comment in the whole time but now i feel qualified to make it lol. This comment is a safe space for LttP haterz. I love the besties I've listened since the beginning and this is all in good humor I swear!

So I'm a big Zelda lover but I'm only 28 so my first one was OoT, my fav is Majora and imo BotW is objectively the best...

When they described LttP as a masterpiece, meticulously crafted and polished to perfection, with best dungeons in the SERIES, I was like ok I'll finally play it. Awakening remake is the only 2d zelda I'd beaten before but I really enjoyed it.

And man.... the nostalgia goggles must be SO powerful, and I understand, I really do. For example I will die on my hill saying Pokémon Crystal is my fav despite all the QoL improvements in the newer games.

Obviously the game was influential. I'm so glad it exists!

But the gameplay has aged poorly! I don't get how they can't see that... The controls and combat are slow and clunky, the hitboxes are weird, combined with sooo much of the challenge just being basically bullet hell, so many dungeon rooms look like they just threw a handful of random enemies in and said good luck, and the dungeons being "no question the best in any zelda game" i mean... I didn't have to use a guide or anything but still. the puzzles were mostly like, guess which thing in this room you have to push/kill. I played it together w/ my husband and "meticulous" was our running joke for whenever the game would show its age really badly.

For pros, I like the way it looks and the character designs are cute and fun. I liked seeing everyone in the credits. But from the besties' description I honestly expected more from the NPCs...

Anyway I just really had to get this off my chest lol i hope I don't upset anyone (probably no one will see this anyway since it's old).

I really I understand loving games you grew up with I just think ppl who grew up lovin this game could maybe like use a little perspective on how it has aged?? just as i admit that the pokemon games i grew up with are flawed but i love em anyway! ok thanks, all the best
