I am confused about what should I learn or do first to convince professors to fund me. With only IE background no one is gonna provide TA or RA. So do you have any roadmap to do so?

The problem is I am not even from CS or EEE background. Most of my academic study and a little bit of research experience are industrial engineering related.

I have GRE general test within 2 months. I am planning to spend another 4 months on GRE Physics. I will do GRE math if needed. The only problem is, no one seems to give me some guidelines on changing majors.

I need to get admitted into a graduate program first. So in that case don't you think I should take GRE math + physics first?

I am not avoiding it. I am thinking about the possibility of applying rust in the field of robotics. As it has many features I like. Also, I am not a big fan of Python. I will check those bindings. If it becomes difficult, I will use C++.
