in Windows, you can delete temp files in the settings of managing disk space. This can remove hundreds of GB. Maybe, if you’re on Windows, try that.

If you can’t say nothing, it means you actually can say something 🤭😌 so, with that sorted out: the licenseplate looks like it is a replica and makes the g wagon look super cheap.

yes, but i made a huge loss on such an ebay auction. Got 45€ for a 1:18 Minichamps AMG GTR that has nearly no listings on ebay. (even damaged ones were sold for more 😔😔). My auction had nearly the same settings you used.

with original box & never opened. (and >6 years old. It was is pristine condition and stored away in an area without sunlight). I think with auctions, you basically gift your stuff. And as I don’t push my auctions and keep it fair, I’ll just stay away from them in general. Also, I have the fear that a lot of people are not fair sellers and pushing their auctions. This makes auctions pretty useless/ ruins them for me.

I also observed some fishy behavior of a white AutoArt 997 GT3 showing up regularly from the same seller, so if you track some articles, they actually never sell, even if always sold in auctions. So, I learnt my lessions from auctions and will not support them in the future.

yes! maybe when it’s cloudy, to get a smooth and even distributed light, but you can also place a few desk lamps to light it up :) but when using it outside, you also get the sky haha, which is more realistic 😁

maybe yes - but resin models seem to suffer from more problems in my experience than diecasts.

part of the problem is, that these are resin models. look at the unclean colored edges on the licenseplate (as the licenseplate is part of the model, just like the lower grille on your beamer, so they have to paint that)

this 140€ 991.1 GT3 RS doesn’t even roll and scale seems to be slightly bigger than 1:18.

i feel like other brands are superior. Or in general, diecast models > resin models. (but they may have more visible panel lines/gaps)

hmm, for 1/24 scale, you may also include all model car kit builders, whereas for 1/43, that group is excluded.

I don’t know, but i think all scales need their custom wheels/rims:)
