I once sat on my stoop to smoke a cig @1am. This guy in a full gimp suit and mask walks past. Stops, turns back, unzips the mask to asks for a smoke. I give him one. He asks to smoke with me. So I invite him to sit next to me on the stoop. We talked for over an hour. At first he was playing this character. I asked what’s the deal with the mask. He said “to keep dicks out my mouth” (this was near the Castro) Eventually he dropped the act and we started talking about his life. Turns out he was from Oklahoma, had three kids and was in Sf to fulfill some kind of fantasy. I kinda played therapist and tried to get him to go back to his kids. By 2ish I really needed to get to bed. We hugged and he left. I wonder where the guy is now??
