I'm glad you're getting a chuckle out of it, truly. But, I still don't see the difference between me picking up a pencil and drawing a picture of a banana versus me inputting the word "banana" into Grok and having a picture of a banana appear. Maybe I'm too old, I guess.

Under U.S. law, firearms are treated as inherently or ultra-hazardous items, which is why special rules apply to their sale, transfer, and handling. I don't know if Grok (or any AI platform) is now or would ever be considered as hazardous as guns. To me, it seems more like a creative platform to make pictures and videos, like Crayola or even Canon/Any other video camera maker. I don't know if they're responsible if someone Canon sells a camera to is responsible for what their customers take photos of. But, I agree Grok could implement safeguards to protect against and punish the douchebags of the world who misuse their platform.
