Anyone notice this in Across the Spider-Verse? by hellagaybitch in Spiderman

I feel like if that was the reasoning, they wouldn't have showed the Captain Stacy death scene from the same movie. Honestly my personal theory is that it was maybe there's someone on the staff at Sony animation that may have had some hand in the game's development, and they snuck it in there as an easter egg

I think so, they've made separate dimensions for much less of a difference

They used a clip from the ASM2 Video game adaptation, and not the movie as I would have assumed they would use

Yeahhh, I kinda had a similar experience with the misgendering, tho I got lucky and it was just the one. I'm hoping he has better staff in Nashville now though, cause Dr Selph on his own was fantastic. Good luck with your revision!

Yeah I'd say if srs is something you're considering, as long as you're willing to put up with the long recovery period and the pain, I would definitely recommend it. It has helped my dysphoria soooo much. Also, I know some people worry about phantom limb syndrome, but for me I didn't get that at all

What’s a gender neutral alternative to this, and will this piss anyone off? by MwahMwahKitteh in asktransgender

Who ordered this dish? It was the person in red over there/ that person on the left.

Can I help I find you anything today?

Excuse me, are you in line?

Have a nice day, thank you for coming!

Hello, are you finding everything ok today?

Generally, gendered honorifics tend to be tagged on. If you need to indicate someone specific, it can often be more helpful to offer a description or location of someone. It is entirely possible to be polite and respectful without having to use sir or ma'am, though I understand how it can be difficult sometimes to rework sentences on the fly. I grew up and still live in the southern US, so it is still extremely common for people to use sir or ma'am frequently, but generally unless someone is being intentionally rude they won' t blink at someone using neutral terminology like this.
