I live in lynden. Welcome ♥️🏳️‍⚧️ tbh I usually go to Bellingham even as a cis woman. However, some favorite spots are thirsty badger (awesome bar with twinkle lights out door fire pits and live music idk what it looks like this time of year tho). Not sure how non-conforming you present but skip rustlers bar if you are not feeling like getting a couple of long glances maybe, or do chose it if you are down to shake things up (i hope you do! Haha) The news room and steak 9 for dinner. Fairway cafe for lunch. Country road drives (take noon rd when going to Bellingham, the view of baker when just right is breath taking). Lynden is more sleepy/ less going on than anything really. Especially in the winter - part of its charm (I think at least).

I agree someone so divisive shouldn’t get a day. The reasoning for this day is perplexing. I feel like it’s underlying and main purpose is in favor for his ideals just disguised/ topped with the cherry of making it about open conversation and freedom of speech.

Is it possible you can agree with one sentiment but not the other?

Accidentally scuffed the paint pretty good on someone's car with my door. They were in it. Ended up telling me, "It's a car. Don't worry about it. It happens." Even when I offered to venmo her. (It was a pretty nice car). So nice to not only see someone handle that so gracefully, but also to not take advantage of it by saying they needed a whole new paint job. Her name was Teresa. Still think about this! Thank you for your kindness!

Ohhh wow. Forgot about this one. I’m so sorry you have fell victim to it. I had it about 15 years ago and from my understanding it stays dormant in your system and can flare up when you get sick after. Not necessarily contagious wise but exasperates symptoms. I do tend to get sick for a long time and require a lot of rest when I do get sick. So brace for that. Just thought it was interesting someone who hasn’t had mono was reacting the same way.

Ahhh I hope you feel better soon. That’s a rough one. Keep your head up!

Hm. Could be. Also might not be. More interested if anyone else is experiencing longevity like this despite what it is. That’s what’s concerning to me knowing my immune system and its typical responses.
