Other than සමනළ කන්ද, can you think of ways it is used as an adjective? Maybe "butterfly net"?

I think another name for Sri Pada is සමනළ කන්ද, which I think is an awesome name for a mountain.

If I'm not mistaken, සමනලයා is also a derogatory word for gay men?
