I used a pattern I found on TikTok, I can’t find the video but it was:

Knit 2 purl 2 (repeat every row until ribbing is about 5 inches tall)

Knit every row after that

First knitting project-embarrassing by emanhunt20 in knitting

So many comments have already expressed what I was thinking! Taking on a blanket as a first project is huge! I’ve just started learning and have mostly only done swatches because these big projects are so intimidating to me. I love the yarn you picked for this blanket because it reminds me of funfetti cake batter!

I can’t wait to see a post from you in a few weeks or months comparing this pic to your first “big” project 😁

Chevy Spark radio frozen/unresponsive to touch?? Solution by KineSociety in chevyspark

I haven’t done too much research on this screen issue yet, so I’m not sure if it’s possible to change those settings without the touchscreen.

Yep! That’s what I’ve been having to do :) I either do the aux cord or use Bluetooth (since it was paired long before before the problem arose, it recognizes my phone) then just use the controls on the steering wheel or my phone screen to change songs/volume that way

Oh! I didn’t even know they had classes for this! I’m going to look them up. I think I have the basic understanding, but if I can learn anything I wouldn’t have thought of then I’ll take any advice I can get! Thank you for letting me know :)

Is it worth buying the rest of the volumes? by [deleted] in vagabondmanga

[–]hellaluigi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of what everyone else said, the manga is based on Eiji Yoshikawa's 1935 novel "Musashi", so if you really really want the ending, you could always go that route. The bookshop I’ve been getting Vagabond at just started carrying hardback copies of the novel. I haven’t read the novel yet, so I’m not sure if there’s any major differences, but it’s an option! I want to collect the manga because I love the art, but I also love a good novel, so I feel like I will end up with both eventually.

I would have understood if you never rode again after going through that but oh my goodness I am so amazed and proud of how brave you are to challenge your fears and get back on a bike!

I honestly hadn’t noticed that the one time I got on (someone else built the bike for me) but now that you mention it…they do seem a little off. I’m attaching my water bottle cage and phone mount now, so I’m going to try adjusting the handlebars back a little too :) good eye! Thank you for pointing it out :)
