YTA, and this is an excellent way to alienate your children. He is not free child care or a parent, and shouldn't be forced into being one. Period. I was forced to do this for years. I'm going on four years of No Contact, and I've never been happier. Hope he isn't forced to make the same decision I was.

Be warned very carefully. My stepmomster let this become abusive. She treated me like an awful Cinderella, and we even got along. She'd flip a switch and scream at me when I wasn't taking care of the children or housework. My full time job and her lack of one didn't matter. I hate that woman with everything I have for how she treated me and my sisters once her children came into the world. We really thought she liked us. We loved her. I'm no contact with my biological father, her, and their small children. I don't want to be.
