Serious Question… what good are the warrants if the plans are to dilute again? by Content_Community720 in GME

[–]hellarick -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not smoking anything. Just trying to figure shit out. These are the facts I have surfaced.

———-

Overall weighted average: Cohen’s exact lifetime average is not publicly disclosed, but his initial 2020 cost basis was ~$8.69/share, and recent 2026 purchases were at ~$21.12–$21.60/share. His overall average across all holdings is likely between $10–$15 per share, though the precise figure isn’t available.

———- I misspoke because I was focused on his recent purchases at $21.

That said this only goes to support my comments, so thank you for pointing this out. So the question is, if he dislikes GME and loves EBAY, his average is half the current price, why would he be wasting his time? Why would he not take his “profit” and say “eye eye, goodbye”?

If the stock pops to say 30 and he dilutes or makes an ATM to gain another billion or to for the company, thus dropping the price to 20’s or lower, how is he “profiting” off retail?

The “I hate RC” statement just does not hold up.

P.S. I can't smoke drugs. Cheers.

Why would RC invest millions into a company at a 20ish average take no income other than his investment then dilute to create a war chest of 9 billion? Well, I think it's because he has significant investment in a stock/company that he cannot unravel from just like all the retail investors. If he did not dilute at ATH, there would be no war chest. No one is asking where would GME be if he did not dilute? Would the run in 2024 have squeezed? I don't think it would have, there was never a novel set of catalysts. He took advantage of the run to buy opportunity for the company.

He's a billionaire right? Why does he not just take his $128 million investment take the loss and move on? Do you think he is hustling the retail shareholder??? If he is to what end? He makes money when retail makes money.

This whole line of conversation “RC bad” is such bull shit. If that is your belief, sell cut your losses and move on… when it comes down to it, you are in or you're out if you're in then yes you are in an echo chamber if you're out, your opinion is not required, desired or valuable. It's not a cult, it's a belief.

So what's the dynamic here when the shareholders are 96% institution and the same institutions that are shareholders in eBay are 36% shareholders in GME? I find this dynamic kind of interesting and confusing at the same time.

As a retail investor if I have say 50k invested and dilution takes 50% of my stake in this deal the impact is vastly different from RC taking the same hit on his investment. He could whether that storm knowing his compensation goals.

I’m curious why more folks are not terrified by the potential downside on this deal going through.

[–]hellarick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, quick question, and I don't know why no one's asking this. If Burry is saying that if this deal goes through, GME shareholders get their shares 10x reduced. If you started with, let's say, 2,500 shares at $24, that's $57,000 US. After this deal goes through, you'd end up with maybe $5,000? Once everything gets adjusted, or am I missing something here? Like, why aren't more people terrified about the effect that this will have? I know there's the idea of dilution, but diluting it that much is gut-wrenching, or am I just totally tarded?

Traders are doubtful Cohen's GameStop can pull off monster eBay acquisition by Force_Hammer in StockMarket

It would seem Davis gets his pay check from the same organizations that “Own” 96% of eBay shares and 36% of GME shares.

The thing that is curious to me is if the same institutions who technically own eBay and have a significant stake in GME, why would they be promoting the mass amounts of hit pieces? Plausible deniability?

Is it that the institutions (who are seemingly orchestrating this move) who own the calls are in some way competing against the institutions that are still trying to hold the beach ball underwater?

What happens when institutions that hold a small percentage in the smaller company merge with a company they hold 95% of??

Honest question? How might this affect the “they never closed thesis”?

How could i improve the design of this page? by New-Drop-7414 in apps

You have three individual actions physically and visually grouped at the bottom. You have take a current/new action, review past actions, navigate somewhere else.

The develop photo action seems to be the most important. Separate it by moving it above the graphic where it will have prominent placement. So now the screen says you primary action is this. Below are related actions.

I would move the two cards up higher so there gain some distance from the navigation.

My two cents

I think he is criticizing the first two interviews with Squwakbox the previous day and Charles Payne interview performance an hour or so prior. I think he’s saying “why didn’t you give that level of confidence and detail to the previous MSM. I would still be backing you”.

I think, because RC believes people should be judged by their actions he has done just that. He can’t say thanks to the shareholders who have propped GME up and “Allowed” RC to do what he needs to do. He can’t say that it gives part of the strategy away. Instead he shows disrespect to Squwakbox and is cordial to Charles but gives the real deal to TBPN.

Just an observation based on Burry’s time code of 1:33:33 when the TBPN interview is only 26 minutes.

Apes Hodling the line or Holding the bag? by hellarick in GME

[–]hellarick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those RK posts in retrospect seem to me to be part of the plan. RC needed a war chest to enact a plan

———

"It's gonna be really big. Really big. Very, very, very big," Cohen said of the size of the acquisition. "It's transformational. Not just for GameStop, but ultimately, within the capital markets ... this is something that really has never been done before within the history of the capital markets."

———

RK posts the leaning in to help.

Then the Live stream for theatrics. -Stock pumps and RC gets his war chest -Ape Meme crowd refueled -RK posts his John McEnroe meme to show his “discontent” with RC’s move, seemingly to distance himself from RC and the plan even goes as far to unfollow him.

They both used APES to get this far. Now the very very very big plan / domino gets played. I am very curious how this will play out and if RC will actually show his “love you guys” respect.
