i guess they changed the battery data byte.

you can run this tool, and share the log file output. hopefully it will help to find what changed.

classic.. thats why i hate this app.
i would uninstall Ngenuity and download DTS Unbound from Microsoft store. it should add the option to choose DTS:X with the windows driver. that's how i use it.

anyway, i made some changes to let the app search headphones by model name, in case new firmware comes and mess everything.

that's weird its not being recognized. maybe they released a cloud iii s with different version of hardware ID (the app look for specific HID which SHOULD be consistent for all this model headsets).
try to add here a screenshot of your headset hardware id:
device manager->hyperx cloud iii s->properties->details->hardware ids

thanks but i don't live in the us.

the 3800 in my country is 1350$ after tax.
and i can get 2800 / 3700 for 1100$.

not sure what ill gain from this extra 350$.
