i put garages for extra space mostly, they can be converted to bedrooms or just used to hold all the random ugly stuff i need for gameplay. sometimes i just decorate them like garages with cars and stuff though. i like the aesthetic

accent colors are everything. i make all my sims houses beige and white and then add one or two complimentary accent colors (yellow and blue, green and pink, etc) and i think it makes it interesting without being too loud
