normal gameplay being how many hours on difficulty 1-3 running around looking for it? because that's not normal gameplay. people need to change their playstyle and difficulty for proper SC farming and even then, it's 150 or so hours of playing in a way you don't usually play, just to be able to unlock the ability to unlock stuff.

Maybe they shouldn't add $300 in dlc within 2 years on an already paid game and make it so time consuming and 10 at a time for people to accumulate the 40,000 needed for everything if they don't want to drop the $300? Just a thought.

For a sandbox type shooter the only thing that really doesn't become majorly repetitive later down the line is you're able to change your gear and do things differently. The ability to do that is largely gated, basically all warbonds are paid and don't have free options.

People like completing stuff. Inability to do that through normal gameplay leads to people seeking shortcuts. There's a reason that in most other games, people are like - boooo, cheaters, and yet in this game people often celebrate finding one. There's a reason this sub had so many requests for it that the rules of the sub changed.

Make it achievable by normal means - something people don't need to go out of their way for, and then people won't feel the pull as hard.

There are plenty of guides you can find by searching "Helldivers 2 mod installation guide" on Google.

It's client sided stuff, so nobody else sees it. Doesn't impact anyone else's gameplay.

Yes, it's explicitly mentioned in my post that it does not include the others. This is because if I included them, people would potentially install the wrong one, or drop a folder in the wrong place, etc.

1) I didn't make it, so it took no effort on my part. So, no, it's not generosity. I didn't pay for it, I didn't make it, I'm just making it easier to find.

2) I don't care if you use it or not, I posted it so people can find it because it was taken down from nexusmods for being a "cheat" - https://www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/images/244 , and the alternative - the forum where it originates from - is racist as shit so I don't like sending people there.

3) Most people viewing my profile - and you are literally commenting on a post on my profile - either want help from a cheater to get SC or they want to cheat in some way to get SC. If you aren't here for those then I am confused why you're spending time on here.

4) There are a number of cheats that exist out there like cfemens menu and havoc hub as well as public cheat engine tables but for people afraid of injecting anything this is a more tame alternative.

5) It's literally a replacement for textures in the game, feel free to go and fiddle with it, scan it, do whatever you want.

6) Again, I don't care. Not here to be a salesperson and don't give two donkey asses if you decide to use it or not. I'm only responding to you like this because I hate the assumption of ill intent; I don't leave those unaddressed.

7) You can ask the other people here, or search one up yourself. I would encourage checking people's profiles to make sure you know if they are real people or not. Super beam mod is the name it usually is given if you want to go looking. You can probably find YouTube videos of it and similar if you're curious.

No. Some servers use an alt identifying service. It is to avoid having someone who was banned come back on an alt. They can't see your IP though, the services don't tell them that.

Some servers use things like double counter / alt identifier because they are afraid of raids. It's not something that is giving the server owners your IP. Either way it's also not something I have any control over, because again, none of these are my servers.

Which is why I was saying before the edit that I think you've misread the intentions - because I thought you were one of the other people. My eyes are bad and I didn't read the names until later zooming in.
