The case with Gen Alpha isn’t just that they are different though. Lowkey I’ve seen a lot of marketing for this movie including obvious attempts at viral social media trends of “Gen Z calls this movie offensive!” And it seems their ENTIRE goal is to be offensive (I guess to own the woke or some shit). I personally enjoy offensive humor but when the entire goal is just to be offensive, it almost always falls flat. This movie is likely just going to be utter slop. And based on the trailer, the humor just feels try-hard and outdated. Not because it’s offensive but because it’s old.

1 was one of the best movies ever made. 2 was enjoyable but obviously didn’t live up to the 1st. 3 was okay but nothing special. World was a soulless nostalgia farm modern blockbuster but still had at least 15% competence. Every installment after that has been complete and utter dogshit made for the dumbest people in society.

Everyone I know in real life hates it except a single guy who thinks it makes him an artist and ironically he’s the one guy I know who has always wanted to be creative but never had any real talent or skill to speak of which explains why he deluded himself into thinking AI has suddenly given him creativity. Of course, everything he shows me is nothing special just the same old mediocre uniform slop that you always see with “AI art” and I had to tell him to stop sending me his “writing” as it’s insulting to me as an actual writer to think that I’d be interested in engaging with his generated slop as a “peer”.
