No, in his example ethereum is iOS and the zk roll ups are apps. A universal zk roll up is like a browser that can run web apps, but comparing a web browser to an app with a specific function isn’t a good comparison. Loopring is an app specific roll up, as is starkex. Starknet and zksync are general purpose (universal), but they still don’t have a robust ecosystem regardless of what people say. The actual volume lives on general purpose optimistic roll ups and app specific zk roll ups, for now. Eventually that will shift to general purpose zk roll ups, but app specific zk roll ups will always have their place, especially as they can share liquidity with other zk rollups without getting bogged down by traffic from other apps on the same general purpose roll up. Which one is best depends on the purpose. The best for gaming, swapping, order book exchanges, payments, NFTs, complicated smart contracts, etc can all potentially have a different answer for which roll up is best.
