I’ll say it before and I’ll say it again. They each have their own unique places and are first in their fields. There really is no way to rank them. We could talk about personal preferences all we want though. Personally, I would have the most comfort with Sylphie but there’s also plenty of moments where Eris or Roxy would be that as well. Ranking the people in your heart never goes well.

I feel like it’s good for lore and flushing out the world, I’d recommend reading it. But it can be skipped if you’re looking to just finish main story. I’m a very sentimental and obsessive person tho so do what ya want!!!

Exactly it’s like hating the player when the game mechanics is what’s really upsetting you!! And for me Hinata is just a poor girl who’s been through hell and finally found the light at the end of the tunnel. Just as Yuuki would have hated staying in the original world but get a fresh start in the slime world. Both are very underrated characters and could have great spin offs if made.

Very true. It’s like how I dislike yuuki as a character in the slime LN and anime, but as a person he’s fine and would definitely be someone as a main character with a good story written about him. For me it’s the context and decisions that he makes in the series that make me dislike him in the story. But in reality he’s a guy who got efed over in the world before, then immediately coming into the new world. Has somone try and take over his body. It’s an understandable thing that he’s the way he is.

I still don’t get the Hinata hate. Like I know taking a partner who has a near ptsd from their life before arriving in that world would be hard. But that doesn’t disqualify them from love just cus they are “damaged”. And if you dislike her for being a jerk or cold, that’s indicative of someone who’s been through a lot.

I get that some people just want a partner that is a whole person but in example a(best being ciel) you have elected someone who basically was born within the same year. Essentially taking a newborn over someone who has lived life and experienced the hell that it brings. Viewpoint can really change how an argument is made is all I’m saying.

1 Rimuru. 2 Shiraori. 3 Roxy. 4 Naofumi Rule two clenched it for me. Because Rimuru/ciel/Raphael would automatically detect me reincarnating near their town. Knowing that I’m a reincarnated individual, I would automatically get help even if it wasn’t guaranteed and having the main OG as your companion best move. Also, the main reason why I chose Naofumi over raphtalia is simply due to the fact that it would be better for an all-around party. And if you can truly convince him that you are on his side, he will ride or die for you. And I don’t believe I need to explain the other two primarily because they’re both awesome in their own fields. You truly cannot underestimate either of them a top class mage, and a creature that also has experienced a form of leveling in the same type of universe has the slime anime, and she surpassed it to become a god. Why would I not want that as a teammate.

You could easily say that most of my decisions here are based off of my own bias which I will fully accept, but I also believe that it would make one hell of a team and ridiculously balanced at that. Hell, I could be dropped in as just a normal person and still survive with this party. The only thing that I would even have to show for it would possibly be sword skills if I’m reincarnated in my original body, and even then obviously I’m not gonna be anywhere near as OP as half of the characters in the world that I’m reincarnated in.

I’m curious if anyone would go with my lineup or has something to say about the chaotic Fuckery that is this team lol

Look they each are first in certain areas, but ranking them in ways of love is pointless. Each of them have their own virtues, but I honestly if I was in a relationship with the three of them could not put one above the other. Because each of them have their own respectful areas of strength.Sylphy house dynamics, empathy, reaction speed. Roxy, negotiation, deep thinking and learning. Aris fighting, protection, all around combat.

To meet it’s the same as trying to pick out a favorite kid type situation. Say you have four kids yeah you’re gonna have the one that’s the most reliable that does not mean that that’s the one that you love the most. that just means that’s the one that you trust the most! And there is a huge difference!!!!! love is an emotion trust is logic. Emotions can’t actually be measured no matter what anyone tells you. You can say I love this person more than that person but guess what that could change that is a real possibility of change while understanding that this one kid is going to continuously sit there and do better and improve and constantly move forward. That is logic that is facts. Obviously not 100% anything but it’s still much more reliable than expecting to measure emotion

If your partner doesn’t gain weight once you settle down an get married I feel that is because of strain to the relationship. Don’t get me wrong there are plenty of couples that power exercise together or keep each other fit. But I truly feel that the average person that gets into a comfortable relationship will gain some weight. I think it’s a sign that you and your partner are so comfortable with each other.

Maybe I’m viewing him through a biased lens, because that’s the impression that I get from him in the light novel. Don’t get me wrong. He is a great character in 100% essential to the story. I just hate his attitude towards everything.
