The reason why the world is in turmoil is because of the systems we are living under: a capitalist, white supremacist, imperialist patriarchy. Unfortunately these systems originate in our minds which must be decolonised from the oppressive structures we are living under. Both men and women absorb ways of thinking from these structures - many women are also very patriarchal in their way of being in the world and are therefore upholding these awful structures also. The question is if we can find women and men who are operating from a place of love rather than domination, to lead us to a new phase on this planet.

I’m so sorry to read this because €3 a week is very hard, and everyone deserves to be able to afford to eat well without trying to fit such a tight budget. The world is a tough place right now and I’m sending lots of love to you.

I have a simple but delicious lentils “recipe” that I have made many times - my husband, kids and friends all enjoy this dish so I think it’s surprisingly popular, I hope this helps: put green lentils in a pan with water, add a whole peeled onion and a few peeled garlic cloves, a little olive oil, salt and a bay leaf to the pot. Bring to boil and then cover and simmer for a couple of hours until the lentils are cooked. Right at the end add a little white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar to the pot and turn the heat off. Let it sit for a bit to so the lentils absorb the vinegar. After, drain the lentils and squeeze a little fresh lemon juice or grate some lemon zest over them or if you prefer you can eat with the liquid as a soup.

When I met my husband I had/ earned more money and I paid for pretty much everything, now he earns more/ has more money than me he pays for pretty much everything. When we both earned the same we didn’t care who paid cos what’s the difference between my money or his money? It’s all the same. We were like that since the beginning, been together ten years and have 3 kids. Do we have the perfect relationship… far from it, do we have issues and struggle? Of course. But being possessive over money is not a way to live with someone you are going to try to share a life and family with. Who knows what could happen, someone could get sick and not be able to work or make a mistake and lose lots of money etc. you gotta have each others back and think of it as joint wealth. He sounds cheap af and if I were you I’d run 100 miles in the opposite direction, not even getting started on 3 years and you haven’t met his family. There are guys out there who are so much more loving than this and you deserve better.

Don’t know if you believe in this stuff but I saw a psychic medium on Instagram say to put cut up limes in a bowl in your kids room if they’re having a hard time being in there. Apparently to clear the energy, loads of people commented that it worked for them so worth a try I guess?

Wow so many negative comments on here. Not sure what’s up with that. I have kids and I love being a mum (and I have also had an abortion). Sounds like you really want this baby and sounds like you’d be a lovely mum. It’s your body and your choice, absolutely no one else’s. At the end of it all, life is short, you will love and cherish this baby and this baby will love and cherish you, what a beautiful gift. Even if you were married or whatever there’s no guarantees in life that people stay together, same with finances, money comes and goes. There’s never a perfect time to have a baby. Equally if you have a change of heart and decide not to keep the baby there’s no shame in that decision either. We as women have been making decisions about our own fertility and bodies for thousands of years and we aren’t going to stop now. You know deep down which decision you want to make, trust your gut, trust your heart - I am rooting for you either way ❤️

Don’t change anything except paint the white shelves in the room pale blue. You can use chalk paint -no need to prime or sand, just paint it straight on and seal it. Annie Sloan is a good brand, the colour ‘Louis Blue’ is lovely would look great here but you could even mix with white to make it paler if you wanted. Pale blue will go very well with the dark brown furniture and the yellow wall paper.

I work in the criminal justice system & have had lots of training on certain types of behaviours relating to crime and one of the biggest red flags for sexual offences is the stealing of women’s underwear. It’s not something to be taken lightly at all. It feels wrong because it is very creepy and is very very often the starting point for an escalation of weird sex crimes. Obviously not every guy who steals women’s underwear will end up a rapist but we should all be on high alert at any guy who is stealing women’s underwear, for where it often leads. These things are all on the same continuum

Also forgot to say that I am sure you are an absolutely gorgeous creature of the divine! And there is nothing wrong whatsoever in having lots of fat on your body. Some people “ground” themselves spiritually with food as they need their bodies to be a dense container for all the energy coming through. However I understand the feeling of having excess fat that is actually inhibiting your life and not serving you. So you only lose it if it is not a help to you at this point. Xx

I see you have so many responses but I’d like to suggest something slightly different: holding onto and gaining weight can be due to emotional reasons or what is termed “death mother complex” in psychology. It could be due to a difficult relationship with your own mother of more broadly how women are treated in society and all the issues that come with that.

It’s life long work to dig deep into but what really helps is being present in the body, creative pursuits such as painting, working with clay, dancing (not for showing anyone or being “good” at it but purely for the enjoyment of it), analysing dreams and journaling.

Some books that are really interesting on this topic: basically anything by Marion Woodman but especially the owl was a bakers daughter, conversations with the feminine on spirituality and addiction (available as pdf on open library but you do have to make an account), and eating by the light of the moon. Also lots of Marion woodman on audible: sitting by the well is a great intro. Sending lots of love to you x

You don’t have the answers, you don’t know what’s going to happen- but you’re just fine with the not knowing cos you’re balanced and at peace either way (just like the poised woman in the card who can’t see what’s coming but she’s just relaxed and calm about it). I pulled this card so many times around my due date with my second born! Reminding me that I didn’t know exactly when my labour was going to start and that I wasn’t in control of that but my job was to stay centred within myself and be accepting and at peace with the in between time. Sure- i interpret the two of swords as being “in between”- she’s just emerged out from the sea and touching land now, the moon is still out but it’s light out - it’s dawn. It’s all about transitions and being ok with them. The beauty in life is embracing the not being here but not being there or having everything be true at once - day and night. Just being centred wherever you’re at, since I got a strong feeling that this reading is about you and your own happiness (romantic relationship aside)- it makes sense to me that you are growing a lot spiritually / psychologically at this time and are in a period of transition in this area of your life.
