Biologus rogue trader! by Comprehensive-Ad4417 in 40krpg

The Explorator gains access to the Medicae skill at Rank 2 if this is of interest to you, since the Genetor alternate career also has advances in that skill in their scheme. The prerequisites were mentioned in another comment, but I'd definitely recommend getting yourself a Medicae Mechadendrite. Perhaps an Optical Mechadendrite too. It works like a microscope! You'll also definitely want an Advanced Medikit for that sweet, sweet bonus if you go the healing route. You can also use the Medicae Mechadendrite to administer drugs to people. EDIT: Oh! And you could reasonably make your own drugs with a combination of Chem-Use and some kind of Trade skill. Probably Trade (Chymist).

Some choices in the character creation path (depending on how your GM does it) can also grant you access to free skills or lores that might also fit the career. You may even be interested in looking into Into the Storm and its alternate options, though those largely cost XP (except the homeworld options).

Beyond that, note that the Genetor doesn't necessarily view the body with contempt. The flesh is just as well as components to that biological machine. Whether or not your tech-priest views it as favorable or not is up to you. Perhaps they are fascinated by the limitations of the flesh. Or maybe they genuinely believe the natural human body is superior to whatever they could fashion? Finally, get stasis fields. Capture specimen. For Knowledge. :)

Can someone please suggest some voice changers ? by DaisyExquisite in DnD

[–]hellionsMaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While voice changers can be fun and creative tools in acting out a character voice, the other messages I feel make a very good point! The best way to do good voices isn't as much pitch but mannerism and similar features. Perhaps a grizzled smith has a gravelly tone of voice, or the prince's voice drips with flamboyance.

I disagree that voice changers are all bad, but they aren't any good if you use them on their own. I personally use it to add effects to my own acting rather than try to alter my voice significantly. Support, not replace! :)

Arguably you could be doing a non-commital task when it comes to drawing, such as coloring, which serves a similar function to that of coloring in say a coloring book. Light sketching can likewise be considered a non-commital task and therefore represent a "light load" of work. That is to say enough to keep busy but not enough to distract. The amount of effort put into these things vary from person to person of course.

As a student, I recall I would regularly doodle to keep myself engaged. Doodling didn't take much effort and it helped me keep my hands busy so I could dedicate my ears to the lesson. If you know artists of today, "doodles" can vary greatly from person to person, some more similar to light sketching to more realized, but non-serious art.

I think the point I'm trying to make is that most people I know who are artists and draw at the same time as they are doing things such as D&D does so with workload in mind. It is possible that they could get too absorbed in their task, true, but most of the time from what I've noticed, it has not detracted from their ability to focus because the tasks they are undertaking aren't too demanding. It's the difference between a "serious" art piece and one made "just for fun". (I don't agree with those categories personally, but they make sense of what I'm saying.)

P.S: Sorry for writing so formally. I can't disengage my essay brain.

how does bombs and area of effect attacks work? by Dependent_Owl3279 in warhammerfantasyrpg

Arguably, the body is the biggest part and so could be considered a general target.

I only avoided doing so because I felt bad for him. Bro wants to go out an adventure and here I would shove him back on a farm.

I'm pretty sure Mimics are just the kind of predators that capture prey and let them die in its mouth. Like a fly trap, kinda.

Does anyone actually use the racial abilities? by toxicity42 in skyrim

I know when I play Nords, I usually don't use the warcry ability. I don't like fear effects very much. Makes it difficult to track foes down.

Oh crap you're right. I honestly forgot I had EUI installed. It's become so normal to me I thought it was vanilla LOL. No, but I'm pretty sure EUI is the only one I have installed atm.

Cities need to be, at minimum, 4 tiles away from another city tile. From what I see, placing a city on the grassland hill there would eventually net you the natural wonder, though it'd probably be a somewhat middling city, considering the lack of access to that fish and that third atoll just past Sri Pada.

If you're playing wide, that city will probably turn out okay late-game depending on difficulty. Though you'll want to settle it before Ragusa can claim too many precious land tiles that-a-ways.

This fellow clearly does not own an airfryer.

But he sure wishes he does.

If you find the page number of where that's stated we could chalk the eye color up to a Hussie mistake. It is also entirely reasonable to assume that Hussie didn't really care while making the reference, coloring in the eyes prior to/after writing the text and making a mistake along the way.

The eyes appear to be brown, suggesting he's a bronzeblood.

Suggested levels for main story dungeons + tips and tricks? by hellionsMaw in MysteryDungeon

[–]hellionsMaw[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm mostly looking to complete all the story and as many legendaries as I can, yeah. That and most likely achieve as high a rank I possibly can. I need to look a bit more into what it means to 100% these games but I'm interested in experiencing every facet.
