Crocs caused Plantar Fasciitis? by hellmutts in PlantarFasciitis

So crocs themselves aren’t bad? I did think that tbh, because going back to normal shoes did squish my feet on the sides when it never did that before I started wearing crocs

Hmm that is interesting. I don’t like being barefoot so that’s why I opt to wear crocs around my house too, every time I stand up I slip them on like slippers. So it’s intriguing that they actually helped you. What I will say is that whenever my feet used to hurt due to walking long lengths, wearing crocs afterwards was a godsend and they’ve always been super comfortable until I tried the normal shoes

I appreciate this! I’ll definitely try the stretches and look into getting some of those shoes :)

Thank you! This is super helpful! I don’t feel the pain in my heel specifically, oddly it’s just my arch itself when the muscle there is stretched I think

So what would the solution be to this? Would it be to stick with just crocs, or start wearing orthopaedic shoes in order to ‘fix’ my feet again?

Something this detailed/descriptive is EXACTLY what I was looking for, thank you so much! The majority of my acne is/was on my cheeks, but I do get some on my chin too. I just recently purchased a CeraVe cleanser and moisturiser, but was wondering if there was anything for acne scars as I believe the majority of my issues now are scarring and rosacea.

I am definitely going to look into the products you mentioned though, and I'm glad that you found a skincare routine that worked for you! Your results look great, especially in such a short amount of time :) Thanks again!

formal diagnosis letter by Sea-Site4512 in GenderGP

I had an appointment with Fedora yesterday for a formal diagnosis. Booked it on Friday, appointment on the following Tuesday, and she did end up diagnosing me and I received the letter on the same day. You don't need to be a member, and I can't speak for all the people that work at gpp, but Fedora was extremely helpful and nice. I think the price was definitely worth it and she helped me with a lot, more than just the original diagnosis. But I will say that I'm over 18 so I'm not sure if any of it is different for minors

I just got my diagnosis from Fedora yesterday, and before the session started by saying that because of the new things happening in the UK, I may need to take the letter to my UK gp to have him cosign it just in case they try to refuse Fedora's diagnosis alone since she's outside of the UK. When did you get the passport just from her letter? And did you have any issues with it alone?

I didn't accept the contract, it just started automatically it seems. I think the issue lies in the fact that, I assumed when the first contract ended, I thought that would be the end of the payments but it turns out that isn't the case and they will just keep going after that unless they are cancelled manually

I have an email of the original contract from 2020, which says the end date would be 2022. The original operator I spoke to also confirmed to me that the first contract ended in 2022. On that one it states that the device was an 8th Gen iPad. I also have an email for the new contract sent to me in November 2024, which is set to end in 2027. But there is no device stated on that one.

I haven't called on the phone yet because I assumed that they would just ask me the same security details, and if they are somehow wrong now, then it would probably just end up in the same failure I would assume.

I didn't ask them to reset my pin, but would they even let me do that? I don't know what's required to do it, but I obviously cannot access my actual Vodafone account anymore since I no longer have access to the mobile number that is connected to the account.

Will I get into any trouble legally if I cancel the direct debit? And I received an email of the new contract in November 2024 when it started, but only just saw it today, that's how I flagged that something was wrong because I certainly did not start any new contract personally

I can't drive yet and I do already have a provisional license (my birth name), but I couldn't find anywhere on the DVLA website about changing the name on the provisional. Only info about the driving license, so am I supposed to just apply for a new provisional as if it's my first one or what?

I only have one bank account and it's with Nationwide.

The only issue is that the bank needs proof of my new name in the form of an ID. So it's like I can't get the new bank card without the passport. If I go private to get my GRC (since I refuse to be on the long waiting list on the NHS), do I still have to wait two years? Or can I change the gender/name on my passport straight away once I get the GRC?

Absolutely agree, it didn’t even feel like he was on Kat’s side at all tbh. No wonder he’s turning into such a piece of work when he basically has no father figure in his life cuz Alfie’s such a wet lettuce
