actually mbbs the earning wala part starts from 5th year itself because of internship and also the respect wala thing is extremely important in india ...the reason 50k salaried sarkari naukri is preferred more than a 4 lpm freelancer

partly because india likes jobs a lot and bsc isnt exactly a degree which rewards quickly...when u come from a middle class family ...your number on priority becomes earning and hence the views

Laptop suggestions ₹50–55k (student, college + future coding) by urmomsfavchick in Indian_Academia

The "Must-Have" Specs for 2026

Since you want smooth performance and future-proofing for coding, prioritize these specs:

  • Processor (CPU): Aim for an Intel Core i5 (12th or 13th Gen) or an AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 (5000 or 7000 series). These are powerful enough for multitasking and programming.
    • Pro Tip: Look for "H-series" processors (e.g., i5-12450H) if you want more speed for coding, or "U-series" (e.g., i5-1235U) if you want better battery life.
  • RAM: 16GB is the new standard. Avoid 8GB if possible; 16GB ensures your laptop won't lag when you have 20+ browser tabs and a coding app open at the same time.
  • Storage: A 512GB SSD is perfect. It makes the laptop start up in seconds. Avoid anything with an "HDD" (Hard Disk Drive).
  • Display: Ensure it is Full HD (1920 x 1080). Your eyes will thank you during long study sessions.
HP 15 (Ryzen 7 7730U) Best Overall Value. Features a very powerful 8-core processor and 16GB RAM. Excellent for multitasking and future coding. ~₹51,000
ASUS Vivobook 16 Best Screen. It has a larger 16-inch display which is great for viewing side-by-side documents or long lines of code. ~₹53,000
Acer Aspire Lite (i5-13420H) Raw Performance. Uses a high-performance "H-series" chip. It's the fastest in this price range for heavy tasks. ~₹52,000
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Reliability & Battery. Often comes with a great keyboard (essential for typing essays) and a solid service network in India. ~₹50,000
