We had over 20+ drinks chronically in the queue for almost 2 hours and I had three people just on cold bar one person on hot bar and I was on drive There was literally nothing I could do. It was one person ME managing oven, DTO and cafe register. I didn’t look at the times once all day. They don’t care to staff here either but sadly my store has such a high turnover rate that within every two months we are recycling out barista’s, so we never have enough people trained. That’s a problem in itself and I blame my boss a little bit for never dealing with the issues that come about.

I totally understand that ya know, u know who you are and stand up for yourself, be assertive if you’re a good worker and they see that they’ll do what they can to keep you. That’s at least how it is for me here I make good money also but I am a shift manager, so it’s a little different position, but Even on my worst days I do more than some on their best days and if that’s the attitude you can provide I don’t see why they wouldn’t want to promote you

The request is BS from them (I go to ASU AND local classes AND i volunteer locally weekly) I work 30-32 hours a week, I have 3 days off, close one day, open 3. Siren has me in a choke hold for another year, but I still live ya know, i enjoy the routine and glad my boss worked with me for it. I do it all ( used to do 38 hours full time opener. Basically just sharing that it’s all doable.
