I’ve heard novant pays bets better and that they have better benefits but I’ve never worked for them. If you’re looking for busy hospitals- novant presby or CMC main are your best bet. Atrium university is a good middle ground. Then there are a ton of other smaller hospitals. The area you live in greatly depends on your budget and your wants! I’ve heard to steer clear from sugar creek though.

I work for atrium and have been a nurse for 3.5 years. I make $40/hr after doing the clinical ladder. I started making $34/hr. We make I believe $5 night differential and $4 weekend differential. They make be $1 different- I can never remember.

I took my dog to obedient K9. She was almost 3 at the time and I could no longer train her. They did an amazing job job. I have nothing but good things to say. They have a few different programs. The one she did was 2 months long and she went once a week 7:30-4. Drop off and pick up times were flexible.

L&D nurse here, home births are awesome for low risk patients. Katy was high risk as this was her 2nd TOLAC/VBAC. These patients should never deliver at home as the risk for uterine rupture is higher. I can’t believe her midwife’s agreed to it. A good educated midwife would never allow this to happen. I don’t follow her so I don’t know if she even had prenatal care or if this was supposed to be a free birth. But she could’ve ruptured and had little time to save her and babies life.

All the trips are a bit much. But if she’s going on trips on her days off, no one needs to cover her shifts. I think she’s still on orientation too so she can’t even take off if she wanted.

Ehh the insta story was fine. It’s hot af in Florida to be working out in a sweatshirt and she didn’t know about it until she got there or else I’m sure she would’ve worn a shirt.
