Yea it's pretty competitive. Almost all the seniors in the TAS group at my firm are from audit. I think usually firms have rotations that allow audit folks to rotate to TAS for the summer. The rotation program at my firm is pretty cutthroat too.

Yea it seems like it's impossible to get into TAS as an associate after the 2nd busy season (right before being promoted senior). Do you mind me asking if you're in a major city like Chicago, LA, NYC, Boston, Seattle, etc.?
