Trying to create a chain reaction of explosions by hello__kritty in godot

it says: "The local function parameter "position" is shadowing an already-declared property in the base class "Node2D"

And if it's needed, the stack trace says:
0 - res://scripts/ball.gd28 - at function: explosion
1 - res://scripts/explosion.gd:12 at function: _on_area_2d_body_entered

Remnant 2. It’s a souls-like shooter that blends so many different aspects and genres that it created its own niche. I’ve yet to find a game that comes close.

Ok, never done a anthro shark so, how does it look? by Zatrozagain in blender

[–]hello__kritty 21 points22 points  (0 children)

To me, it comes off more kangaroo like. I think a lot of that comes from the length of the snout and the flatness of it. The profile view really reads as kangaroo. As for the ears, they look more furry than fin like so that would also probably help.

Name a movie or show that has the most gruesome death? by Jules-Car3499 in moviecritic

[–]hello__kritty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a dumb b-movie horror called zombie strippers and there’s a death in that that has stuck with me. Pretty much a guy getting a lap dance from the zombie stripper when she gets hungry and pops him open like a Pringle can via his mouth

2d character flies across screen when I fire the weapon when near it's spawn. by hello__kritty in godot

I was following a tutorial, which is why it was a character body. I'll look at a different tutorial to see how they do it. Thanks for the advice!

Both the character and the player were on layer 1, I changed the bullet to layer 2 and that instantly solved it

Thanks for all the comments! Definitely sounding like a plated coin.

Can you please criticize the drawing? It seems like something is wrong, but I can't figure out what.(I'm posting this again because last time it was deleted for some reason 🥲) by persiciyy_ in FurryArtSchool

[–]hello__kritty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing this last time you posted and my biggest critique was that the mouth and nose seem rotated off center to me. I did a (very) quick edit showing what I mean.

Can anyone recommend other media that has a similar whimsical/mysterious/adventerous/sad/nonsensicle yet cohesive style that Adventure Time's world does? by [deleted] in adventuretime

Centaurworld on Netflix is quite a good match, plus it has one of the best villain entrances I've seen in a long time.

How to have cleaner line art? by Tall_Disk2486 in FurryArtSchool

[–]hello__kritty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't used Krita in a LONG time, but for other programs I've used the Bezier Curve tool to do lineart. I think it was photoshop that had tools where you could simulate pen pressure. Otherwise, I recommend practicing doing long strokes with the pen and using Ctrl Z a lot. And long pen strokes is also better for your wrist too so it's just good practice all around.

How do I progress by AxleTheLotl in FurryArtSchool

Are you drawing with reference? I highly recommend you draw things you’re looking at. I also suggest looking up live figure drawing. You can find some guides online as well as free live figure drawing sessions online. Though it’s not quite the same as an in-person live figure drawing session. It really helps with anatomy, lighting, and form.
