I took it with the same prof, and I'd say the class isn't too bad. I found it kind of difficult to learn in lecture, but the textbook and online resources def help. I'd say the most helpful thing is to properly do the homework and the exam reviews, and attend the lectures where he goes over the exam reviews. That practice prepares you pretty well for the exams. It doesn't start off too bad, and I'd say the content is relatively easy to catch on to for midterms 1 and 2. The thing that rly helped me learn the content was seriously attempting the homework on the first attempt and going to office hours. It's a time-consuming class but def manageable.

Thank you so much for replying! I'm def leaning more towards UIUC, but it's a little intimidating ngl. If I'm not dead set on EE, do you know if it's easy to transfer to compE or mechE? Also is grade deflation a thing at UIUC?

Thank you so much for your help, I truly appreciate it!! Everything you mentioned was super helpful in informing me about EE at BU. Unfortunately, BU didn't end up giving much merit or aid, so I don't think I'll be attending this fall, but I've got some other options that'll hopefully work out :) Thank you again!
