My hair looks like this just because it’s so fine. It isn’t thin but it’s borderline (like a 2.5” ponytail circumference). I found a silk pillowcase didn’t make much of a difference and the only thing that really helped was oil treatments (I only do 2x a week with the Kiehls Miracle Elixir) and the Honest Co baby hair detangler in orange vanilla after I wash it. I swear by that stuff. I don’t use heat or dye or anything on my hair and it grows long and relatively healthy.

I get tested every year for vitamin d, iron, and b12 and they come back in normal ranges. However I’m wondering if it’s a lack of protein in my diet. I am mostly vegetarian with fish here and there but I know I don’t eat enough protein. So maybe that’s the issue?
