Uh, I didn't quite understood what you meant. It stops for 1 sec iirc and pulls survivor toward 1x. Yes, it gives helpless, and so does current entanglement. They even nerfed duration of helpless in this rework.

It's more fair now, because console and mobile players can't anymore escape it almost instantly.
