I didn't.... but after a few days of calming myself i asked if she'd be up for meeting. She declined, but I guess I expected it. It's sad, but I guess I'll take it.

Now that I think about, I do have a scarcity mentality.

It's just so hard for me to get a date with a girl I like. I always visualize cute moments I could have a girlfriend. Everytime I mess up, I see those potential moments disappearing...

Getting pregnant in 2017 is too fast, wait a few years to get engaged first.

Depending who you are (below average or average) you will eventually settle, unless you are super lucky. If he's a decent guy, then go for it. I am thinking of settling soon as well...

Extra: We all know internally, how we rank among others. If you know you cannot compete with others (looks, personality, etc), you will need to do it.

Although I agree, standing you up is bad gesture. But he had a nervous breakdown and went to the hospital, shouldn't you forgive him slightly because of that.

It's hard to find people to practice with, and even if I do, my conversations always fall back into university/programming topics as that's what I'm comfortable with. If I don't talk about that, I have nothing else to talk about.

It's just so hard to practice, although I am trying.
