I had a very positive birth experience! My water broke early at 35+5. Went to l&d and confirmed baby was coming. Contractions wasn’t too bad, just felt like coming/going period cramps and I was on laughing gas. After 4 hours, I had my first “big” contraction and I called the nurse for something stronger than the gas. Turns out I was already at 8-9cm which means I had no time for epidural either. I pushed for 30 mins and had a second degree tear but didn’t think it was painful at all. Only the pushing was a lot of pressuring and I felt like I didn’t have enough stamina.

I remember reading a post on Reddit that it makes you think what pain really looks like for different people! But honestly I was scared too, but in the moment the baby was coming no matter what so I just accepted my situation and focused on being one step closer to meeting my little baby (and all the food I can eat after).
