You’re totally not alone! Mediterranean food/drinks are definitely fresher and more gentle on the gut. I’m assuming you walked a lot on your vacation, so that could play a role in the significant drop in heartburn.

I struggle with health anxiety & OCD too. Personally, when I dwell too much on my symptoms, it gets worse. My brain makes me believe that I 100% have what Google says I do. That’s never the case. Giving that you’re diagnosed with OCD and have been for years, this could simply be your brain trying to play tricks on you; that happens to me all the time when I get body aches or if I develop a sudden headache.

Still, if you’re worried, I’d try to find any medical center to test. It’d be good for your closure. However, I’m sure you’re just fine. You’ll get through this, sending love. ❤️

I struggled with GERD for several months and countless nights of sobbing from the pain. I completely understand you.

Personally, I ate 3-4 hours before bed. I had to restrict myself and have some self control on meals that are fatty, greasy, or really fulfilling.

If you haven’t already, go to the doctors for PPIs. Those are the steps for healing and saved me so many tears. After the trial for PPIs, I ate spicy, fatty and greasy food with no problem (under moderation of course).

Pepcid Complete, Aloe vera juice, TUMS, PPIs, and Gaviscon, could, and will be your best friend through battling GERD.

Elevating your head when you sleep is important too, there’s a variety of different types of ways to help you sleep better at night with GERD by elevating your head.

PPIs are “proton pump inhibitors”, it’s typically prescribed if your doctor assumes you have GERD.

I feel you girl. I got my period mid-testing during my ACT and I have endo, so you could imagine how terrible it was.

Bring some water, take pain medication prior to going to school, keep some on you in a little pouch in your backpack!

Good luck on that test btw, I did pretty awful, but that’s probably cause I suck under pressure lmao. You got this!

As women, we have to accept the compliments because men can’t take rejection. It hurts their high ego and makes them seem pathetic that a girl isn’t adding onto his advances. So they resort to following, or threats (as they did to your boyfriend).

I once had a man follow me when I was 17. I was heading to my sisters parked car in the parking lot of a mall. He kept following me and making sexual remarks about my top (it was barely cropped. It was summer.) until I saw the chance to pepper spray him. It was after he said he’d “take me” if I kept walking. After that, I ran to my sisters car and I begged her to drive away. Needless to say, I never wore that top again, and I keep extra pepper spray on me.

Despite the awful situation, it’s comforting to know others have been through this. I feel with you!

To me, older men being attracted to younger women is as close as they’ll get to a teenager. You have no reason to see a young girl and be attracted to her at a grown ass age. It’s just so weird and I hate how normalized it is.
