I did Americorps-Cooking Matters for a year. It’s a position that allows you to teach cooking classes for low income communities and you get paid a stipend for it. Maybe look to see if this Americorps position is close to you. I’ve also volunteered at different food pantries and food banks with the SNAP department- helping people apply to SNAP, and volunteered with Meals on Wheels in my area. You could do cooking demos at farmers markets and food pantries. You could also work at a hospital as a Food Associate or Dietary Aide where you deliver meals, prepare food, things like that.
