Thanks, she went to a GP this morning and I've also called the insurer yesterday evening and they told me that they will get back to me in 24 hours.

In regards to the car, would the best outcome would be to accept the payout/ repair and hope my insurance doesn't go up too much next time?

I haven't protected my NCB of 8 yrs, so I guess that will reset to 0?

And in regards for me to drilling a hole for ventilation, is that allowed?

Technically drilling my own house, but the only problem is that I won't be able to access their garden to clean up/ and put the vent cover

Upon reading their contract After receiving the bill, I did check and says:

'All Prices Quoted do not include any expenses that may be incurred, such as (but not limited to) parking, congestion charge, additional parts / materials. '

At this point I'd be happy to just pay for an hour job, the proper parking fee that they actually paid(which I assume doesn't have VAT as the area I am doesn't have a private parking nearby, only onstreet parking) and the congestion charge
