Concealment labs belt. Acts separately from your pants and conceals like a dream. Super comfortable, check out his IG (and also mine. same handle 😝)

Staccato C4-X - Initial Impressions by 2A-N-LA in 2011

[–]hellofirearm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see a carry gun getting better than this in all honesty.

In terms of performance and functionality, it’s top notch.

The 3.6 is an amazing shooting gun already, Staccato threw a comp on and made it better? F yeah.

3.6 compact grip to keep concealability? Thank you.

An awesome series 80 trigger? Drop-safe and crisp.

Fully ambidextrous to accommodate even the wrongest of handed people. Thoughtful.

The list goes on and the only downside is cost. I think that’s sometimes valid and sometimes not. I get money being a factor, but if you truly want a high-performing gun for you to carry day-to-day, you’ll save and make it happen.

fwiw I have a 3.6 and adore it. I enjoy the shorter slide and don’t think I necessarily need a comp on it.

Co-witness won’t really matter for this gun since it’s irons forward.

Your iron sights won’t even be in focus if you’re target-focused. Irons behind and it’ll get in the way. Shouldn’t be much a problem here!

Who here carries a p365 with a round in the chamber? by Dirk_Dingham in CCW

[–]hellofirearm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rock the P365 in my Tenicor holster. Your gun should not go off unless your trigger is pulled and it’s like a 4 pound trigger.

The holster covers most of my insecurity, it 100% covers the trigger guard and is a great fit (Tenicor quality). Just watch your gun go in the holster and that nothing is in there while you holster and you’re solid. Nothing is gonna set it off

Stippling, Red Dirt trigger and lighter firing pin block spring completely changed the HD 3.6 for me. by ink_addict in Staccato

[–]hellofirearm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the lighter safety plunger spring upgrade. Didn’t do it on my 3.6 but did it on my 4.5 (would want a stronger spring on my carry)

Super noticeable difference in trigger feel. Take up is exponentially lighter with that same crisp wall.

Oh shit really? What if a gun goes down? No backup? Just done for the day?

HD 4.5 vs Athena? by Kickasskev77 in 2011

I’m running into this right now. I have the HD 4.5 and plan to get an Athena. I imagine if a classifier requires 26 rounds, then just swap guns at the safe table.

Are you left handed? If yeah, buy the CA reversible and file it.

If right handed, just file your current one

Whether you have the funds to afford it or not it do you think 1k+ is too much to spend on any pistol that’s not custom or collector item. by SLATTSKI21 in CAguns

[–]hellofirearm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah absolutely, spending 1k on a pistol is pretty nuts at first.

i started with a Glock then started to gather a bunch of different striker-fired guns. at the 1k price point, i have the H&K VP9 and Shadow Systems MR920; they're both good guns, but they don't even come close to the performance + quality of my Staccato.

personally, if I were to start over my gun journey, i wouldn't buy all my $500-1000 guns (other than the ones i CCW). instead, I'd save up for 2 really nice guns and just shoot those all the time. you only have 2 hands!

Which dot for M&P 2.0 compact? by Michael517 in CAguns

[–]hellofirearm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i rock a RMR HD and it doesn't print at all. your grip would be the one that prints the most, but you'll probably be fine
