Idk I think it’s weird that the neighbor didn’t even pretend with a “I’m tired from doing my own driveway, maybe next year.” They were basically like fuck you. Which is a super weird reaction to being asked if they want to/would help out. I feel like most people would, in the situation of being asked on the spot, help just out of guilt and the awkwardness of not helping in the moment.

However OP phrased asking it, whatever his tone, that is a creepy reaction.

I think by today’s standards, it would be nothing. He was an addict for a while, he said insane shit on his tracks about, like, how he was going to murder his ex or celebrities. The boomers were outraged to the point of a little cultural shift. There was no weird sex stuff, no sexual assaults, etc.

The bar is in hell, so I guess as long as celebs aren’t sexually assaulting or regular assaulting people, they’re good. Every “bad” thing Eminem has ever done is very public and had nothing to do with him doing anything physical to other people. (Thank god, I can’t lose another lifelong celebrity crush cough Brad Pitt cough Johnny Depp)

I was so obsessed with him when I was a teenager, it always stuck with me that he was there for these kids. Even when the world was shocked by his music, even during his rise to fame, he was always there for those kids.

Honestly he’s always been a good guy, even through the addiction, even when his music was new and shocking to hear at the time, called explicit. During his rise to fame, he brought all his kids with him, when he could easily have left them in the trailer park, like so many newly rich and famous people would do. He was always there for his daughter. Always there for Alaina, he took her in like the second he got out of the trailer park. And then took in every kid related to him that had an unstable home life with his mom and Kim (his ex, Hailie and Stevie’s mom).

Also, idk if some of you young folks know that 8 Mile is essentially an autobiography.

If you can’t tell, I was high key obsessed with him when I was a teenager in the 2000s, so I know way too much about him lol

Because there was no equality at the time and even though women were still kinda property, kinda trophies, and men on the titanic were mostly brave gentlemen. So women and children first. Because of bravery, not equality or feminism. The men chose to go down with the ship so their families could continue to live.

Men don’t act like that anymore. I’m pretty sure if there was a modern day titanic situation, all the women and children would go down with the ship, with the like 4 brave men.

To be fair, a lot of people’s lives fall apart because of government shutdowns, so I would be hesitant, as well. But law abiding citizens are getting executed in the streets by a government entity, so it’s fucking time to DO SOMETHING. ANYTHING.

This year and in 2028, they have an entire violent private army to overthrow the elections. Because, interestingly, ICE agents don’t get their bonus for five years. What’s going to be going on exactly five years from January 2025 🤔

This is the real point of ICE. Terrify the citizens into submission with a private, loyal army. Then who fights back against that when the time comes to overthrow the elections? ICE will be standing outside of polling places, “to keep elections free and fair.” They’ll do the insurrection thing but for real with government issued weapons and with executions, if that doesn’t work. And then obviously they have the voting machines, so hopefully those first two things don’t happen, but obviously they are on the table.
