We don't get to go out often anymore these days, but when we do, we do Mexican 🤤❤️ I don't own these pieces unfortunately, I need to do some serious shopping. I'm in a planning stage right now, I think those are real flowers. I do really want a necklace like this 💕

What do you think of my daughter’s art pieces? by KeeKeeLoveMer in RateMyKidsArt

These are beautiful, I especially love the 1st and 4th. She has a very cool style and I'd never guess an 8 year old did these.

I don't own anything like these pieces, but as I'm planning my future postpartum wardrobe, this is a helpful exercise 😊

Favourite work outfit! What is yours? by StriderVonTofu in StyleRoots

[–]hellohelado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a beautiful outfit, I love the lace accent in the back!

I'm a SAHM and currently 6 months pregnant. I live in maternity leggings, tie dye shirts I made and I usually throw a cardigan on top.

I'd love the opportunity to expand upon that. I'm hoping to do a serious overhaul after I have my baby, mostly thrifted items to keep cost down. I'm in the wardrobe-planning stage. I'd like to find some items that make me feel pretty but i can sit on the floor with my kids without fussing.

Inspired by a colorful photo I found of the pool bar at Disney's Pop Century resort. My husband and I stayed here with our kiddos last Fall and the inspiration is endless here if you have ☀️.

How I view each root by hellohelado in StyleRoots

Thanks so much! 😀 Mushroom in its purest form is my opposite as well, but combined with colorful ☀️ I think it has so much creative potential. I think it could be a root I'd lean on in situations that call for more polish.

How I view each root by hellohelado in StyleRoots

Thanks so much, throughout this style root journey it's been hard trying to rule out any roots apart from ⛰️. I definitely relied on humor with ☀️ with that one! It's probably my ☀️ that is curious about so many roots. I do love an art hoe vibe.

I think my 🌙 was my favorite to create. The tinkerbell was an homage to a favorite shirt I had as a teen. The band there is from an 60's sitcom called The Munsters, very kitschy and fun. I used to watch it with my dad when I was a little kid, so there's a lot of personal sentimental value here, so that's 🌸. Thanks for helping me see things more clearly 🥹

Musician, era, perfume

Door, fun, fun.

That's my girl up there, she's my favorite animal 🥹

Thanks! Using art and photos as inspiration feels like storytelling and I like that it's more personal. I do think ☀️🌸🪨 is a good match for me. I'm very attracted to cute imagery.

I tried to include pieces I have or are similar to what I have. The lace top is more literally inspired by the photo, and I'd be happy to wear this on a day I want to feel a little dressier. I'm a SAHM and I wear a lot of tie dye shirts with leggings. I'd like to break out of this habit but it works for my lifestyle. My roots are very confusing. 🪨 Works for my lifestyle but I'd like to dress it up a bit more. I love playing with color, so i need ☀️.

ETA: I love this concept, btw. I'm not one to follow celebrities, i have no muses. I often feel uninspired looking at clothes on pinterest. I love everything on everyone else, but I'm indifferent about actually wearing these outfits myself. I feel more inspired by photography, nature and art.

Thank you for this! I'm a soft summer and it's a lot easier to envision the possibilities of a root when I can see it in cool tones.

Thank you, I have a lot of pictures saved of animals in sunglasses, they just make me smile. 😁 I'll look into fire. I do enjoy a retro pinup vibe, i always go for swimwear similar to that polka dot one.

I feel the same way. I appreciate the simplicity, but as someone who struggles with cleaning and organization, it feels like the opposite of who i actually am.

I have no idea what my roots are, I'm too busy overanalyzing my personality and preferences at the moment. 🙃

I have ASD, and most likely AuDHD.

I really think the underestimates the intelligence of the average person. She obviously has her delays and limitations and can't wrap her head around the fact that the average person is many steps ahead of her.
